The AC7 Matrix Converter leads a new age of drive performance. The AC7 incorporates innovative technology as the world's first low voltage (230V/460V) matrix converter to directly convert input AC voltage to output AC voltage without the need for a DC Bus. Not only does the AC7 improve energy efficiency but it also overcomes many problems typically associated with conventional drives such as harmonic current distortion, line regeneration, installation space, and motor drive issues (very long cable lengths, bearing currents, and common mode currents).
